Bahari Club Nights

Bahari Club Nights: The summer season of our beach club starts its course of live music shows

Our beach establishment ‘Bahari Club’ opens, once again, a summer season full of shows and live music. With the arrival of the warm weather and the opening of our beach club we would like to show you our summer proposal: it’s time for Bahari Club Nights! A live music festival that we have organised from Hotel Bernat II so that our guests can make the most of their holidays in Calella.

Every day, from Tuesday to Sunday, you can count on the presence of our musical proposals. A series of artists, musicians and DJs who are committed to giving you a different show every night to make your evening a sensational one. Located in the beautiful middle of Calella’s Garbí Beach, we will make every day a party. And you’re invited, of course! Are you interested in knowing our billboard?

Concerts programmed during the July and August season:

  • Tuesdays: Desenchufados (21:30h)

  • Wednesdays: The Sideburns (21:30h)

  • Thursdays: Dogwood (21:30h)

  • Fridays: Hector Jara (21:30-23:30h)

The restaurant’s service offers, at the same time, a menu of Mediterranean cuisine that you can enjoy during our concerts. You can find both set menus and group menus. And to accompany the appetizer we also offer various drinks and cocktails so that you can continue the party with us! You may learn about our menus in  Bahari Club’s official website  or by clicking here.

We ensure you that you can count on Bahari. We’re hoping to see you there!

Calella is one of the most important cities on the Maresme coast. Located in the center of the region and at strategic distances from Barcelona and Girona, it has become one of the most important tourist ports in Catalonia. During the summer season, it grows almost a third of its population and this is due to the geography of this municipality: it has beaches, mountains, entertainment venues, restaurants...

But beyond that, Calella is also a cultural centre. For this reason we want to make a list with the three essential places you must visit if you want to get to know our city. Do you dare to do the route?

The 3 essentials in Calella

The lighthouse

The Calella lighthouse is one of the most emblematic places in the city. During the 17th and 18th centuries it served as a watchtower to protect the area from attacks by Algerian pirates. A century later, it was inaugurated as a lighthouse and has continued its activity ever since.

It is one of the main jewels of Calella thanks to its viewpoint and its panoramic views of the city. So much so that it has been used as a stage for live music festivals such as the NEC (Nits d’Estiu a Calella) which is taking place this summer and will date until September.

Les Torretes de Calella

The Torretes are one of the monuments that are part of Calella's artistic heritage. Located between the coasts of Calella and Sant Pol de Mar, they served as optical towers to send telegraphy messages. They were built in 1848 but due to the steam train arriving in the city in 1861 they fell into disuse. For this reason and the lack of maintenance, over time they have become damaged and in ruins.

They are located on the hill of Les Torretes and have panoramic views of the Calellan city that are worth admiring. Do you want to discover this historic corner?

El monument de la Sardana

This monument is located at the beginning of Passeig Manuel Puigvert and is one of the most memorable pieces in Calella. It was inaugurated in the eighties in honor of the Sardana, a traditional Catalan dance and symbol of Catalan identity and nationality. The monument rests on an octagonal pillar and dances and sardanas are often held around it, to commemorate the history of this dance.

Now that you have been able to learn about the history and functionality of these monuments, are you encouraged to visit them during your stay in Calella?

If you want to visit Calella as a couple and you want to surprise your partner with a complete and romantic itinerary, or if you are planning your stay together with the best plans…

We recommend you the following proposals near our hotel:

Barcelona

La Sagrada Familia, Casa Batlló, Tibidabo… Do they sound familiar?

Visiting the Catalan capital cannot be missing in your checklist, because Barcelona offers endless possibilities and experiences that you cannot miss.

The best thing is that it is only 50 minutes away from Calella!

🚗🚅🚌

Girona

Another movie city, literally, is Girona….

The setting for Game of Thrones and Perfume, it’s another must on your visit. For its spectacle of colours crossing the river, its particular old town or its immense cathedral, you can’t miss this getaway, just 50 minutes from the hotel!

🚗🚅🚌

La Roca Village

If you love shopping, you can’t miss the opportunity to lose yourself in La Roca Village, an outlet of the best fashion brands of the moment and with gastronomic proposals in the same space.

Ideal to spend the day among boutiques, design and restaurants for foodies and only 30 minutes by car from the hotel!

🚗

Wellness-Spa

If you’re looking for a relaxing holiday without leaving the hotel…

You deserve your moment in our Wellness-Spa with hydromassage pool, Finnish sauna, Turkish bath, sequential bi-thermal showers and bi-thermal mist showers. You can also complete it with one of our eleven massages in the cabin.

Total relaxation!

👡

WSC

If what you prefer, on the contrary, is a few days of adventure and you are passionate about the sea… We recommend the Water Sports Centre Calella where they will advise you on the different individual and couple activities such as paddle surfing, kayaking, sailing, windsurfing, catamaran, parasailing, jet skiing, slider, aquaroquet, octopus and more.

You won’t leave the water!

👡

Modernist Maresme

Finally, another unmissable plan, if you fancy cultural visits, is to take a tour of the different modernist buildings in the area.

Among them is the Santa Florentina Castle, also the setting for Game of Thrones, which dates back to the 11th century and now offers guided tours to learn all about its history.

The best part is that it’s only a 15-minute drive from the hotel!

🚗🚅
