Sport and Health activities

Calella-Marxa (The Calella walking association)

Walks:  Starting point at the Footbal pitch by the sea every Tuesday and Saturday from 07.30 to 10.30 h and also from the plaça del Mercat (the indoor market parking area) every Thursday from 07.30 to 11.00 h  . 

Every Monday, from 09.30 to 11.00 h, in the Dalmau Park: Tai chi.

Every Wednesday, from 09.30 to 11.00 h, in the Dalmau Park:  Walks and gymnastic activities.

  SATURDAY 9TH OF NOVEMBER
  18.00 h, in the exhibition hall of the Old Town Hall (l’Ajuntament Vell): Inauguration of the solidarity exhibition “Calella solidarity”.  Until the 24th of November. Opening times: Mondays to Fridays from 10.00 to 14.00 h and Tuesdays to Saturdays from 17.00 to 20.00 h. Sundays and bank holidays from 11.00 to 14.00 h.
  WEDNESDAY 13TH OF NOVEMBER

  SUNDAY 17TH OF NOVEMBER
  18.00 h, at the Sala Mozart (c. Església, 91): VI Solidarity artistic festival 2019, in aid of the Calella Hospital.  Tickets can be bought one hour before the festival at the Sala Mozart ticket box. Cost: 8 €, children up to 6 years: 5 €. 
  THURSDAY 21ST OF NOVEMBER
  18.00 h, Can Saleta (c. Sant Jaume, 225-229): Visit the exhibition “Calella is Solidarity”.  Activities for youngsters from 12 to 25 years.
  FRIDAY 22ND OF NOVEMBER
  18.30 h, Sala Mozart (c. Església, 91): Opera with Lucia di Lammermoor, by Gaetano Donizatti. Commentary by Rosa Maria Carbonell.
  SATURDAY 23RD OF NOVEMBER
  21.00 h, Sala Mozart (c. Església, 91): Festival of Santa Cecília. Director: Albert Deprius. Entrance: 5 €, ticket sales at the Sala Mozart from the 11th to the 22nd of November from 18.00 a 20.00 h, and at the box office on the day of the concert, one hour before the concert begins.
  SUNDAY 24TH OF NOVEMBER
  10.00 h, at the Riera Capasbre wooden bridge: 1st Orientació course for all ages and inauguration of the Calella Orientation Circuit
  MONDAY 25TH OF NOVEMBER
  18.00 h, Illumination in lilac of the Calella Lighthouse in commemoration of the International Day against gender violence.

Oktoberfest

Beach canopy: form Monday to Thursday from 20.00 till 00.00 h, Fridays from 20.00 till 01.00 h, Saturdays from 21.00 till 02.00 h. Sundays from 19.00 till 00.00 h.

Concerts at pl de l’Església (church square): every evening until 13th of October from 16.00 to 20.00 h. Saturday 5th of October from 10.00 till 13.00 h. Sunday 6th of October from 10.00 till 13.00 h.

EUROPEAN HERITAGE DAYS: Saturday 12th and Sunday 13thth. Throughout the day free entrance to the Calella Archive Museum, the Tourism Museum (see opening times above).

17.00h. Riera Capaspre, Parade of all the bands participating in the Oktoberfest.

Parade route: Riera Capaspre, Jovara, Ànimes, Església, plaça del Bunyol.

21.00 h. In the beach canopy. Welcome ceremony of the bands participating in the 2nd week of the Oktoberfest

SUNDAY, 6th  

08.00 h, Gran Beach, in front of the “Camp de Futbol de Mar” football field, Ironman Barcelona 2019.

FRIDAY, 11th  

19.00 h, Old Llobet-Guri factory, Calella Rockfest with Southside Johnny and The Asbury Jukes (USA), Laurence Jones Band (UK), Schizophrenic Spacers (Barcelona) and The Grassland Sinners  (Barcelona). SATURDAY, 19th  

17.00 h, Pl de l’Ajuntament (Town Hall square) “Correllengua” ( campaign held annually in the Catalan Countries with the aim of promoting the use of Catalan language) hot chocolate and songs for the children. In case of rain will take place inside the “Espai Mercat” (Market Hall)
