20th edition of the festival Festimatge in Calella<\/b><\/span><\/strong><\/h1>

If you are a lover of photography and cinema, or simply looking for one more reason to visit Calella this year, you cannot miss the <\/span>XX Image Festival “Festimatge”<\/b>, which will be held from <\/span>April 5th to May 4th, 2025<\/b> in different spaces of the city. This event is a great opportunity to enjoy visual culture in a different way, while exploring the city. And the Hotel Bernat II<\/a> opens its doors to you if you decide to visit Calella and enjoy the Festimatge at our side.<\/span><\/p>

What is the \u201cFestimatge\u201d?<\/b><\/h3>

This event, which takes place annually, is a notable event for fans of the visual world. In its twentieth edition, the Festimatge continues to be a unique festival that brings together two prestigious competitions: the <\/span>International 9.5 mm Film Meeting<\/b> and the <\/span>Torretes Trophy for Photography and Short Films<\/b>. Throughout the month of April, visitors will be able to enjoy a varied program that includes exhibitions, workshops, screenings, talks and a collector’s market, all with access <\/span>free<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>

One of the most notable contests is the <\/span>Torretes Photography Trophy<\/b>, which this year celebrates its <\/span>49th edition<\/b>. In this edition, special emphasis will be given to the artistic quality and international projection of the works. Participants can compete in three categories: <\/span>Color<\/b>, <\/span>Monochrome<\/b>, and <\/span>The Sea<\/b>, and compete for the prize <\/span>Best Collection<\/b>, presenting four photographs per section. The best images will be displayed in a <\/span>dark room<\/b>, offering an immersive experience in which attendees can enjoy photography at its finest.<\/span><\/p>

In the exhibition hall, visitors will be able to discover a selection of the most striking images, chosen by a jury of experts made up of international photographers. In addition, you can purchase the printed catalog with all the award-winning photographs of the contest.<\/span><\/p>
