Firatast in Calella 2025
Enjoy gastronomy, music, and family activities from May 16th to 18th in Parc Dalmau
May is a month when Calella comes alive with cultural, gastronomic, and festive events. The pleasant weather invites you to stroll around, discover charming corners, and, above all, enjoy life’s simple pleasures. Among the many events held this month, one stands out for its authenticity and local flavor: Firatast Calella, a food fair that fills Parc Dalmau with tastes, music, and activities for all audiences.
Firatast is a celebration of local cuisine and Calella’s rich gastronomic offerings. Over the course of three days —from May 16th to 18th, 2025— the event will bring together 19 local food and restaurant businesses, offering tastings for all preferences. From traditional tapas to creative dishes, including handmade desserts, gourmet products, and refreshing drinks, each stall will be a chance to explore and enjoy.
The fair will take place in the lower part of Parc Dalmau, an iconic green space in the heart of the city. This year, the event expands its layout to include the pavilion square, which will host a second stage for cooking workshops, children’s activities, and live music. This will also be the spot where tasting tickets can be purchased.
One of this edition’s key new features is the addition of an independent beverage bar, managed by the Calella Tourist Association and Calella Centre Comercial. This will help avoid queues and improve the visitor experience. More tables and chairs will be placed around the Brollador and Olivera squares, creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere to eat, chat, and enjoy.
Firatast is not only about food. Throughout the weekend, visitors can enjoy live music, culinary demonstrations, raffles, and children’s workshops. Admission is free, and the event is designed to be family-friendly and accessible. The opening will take place on Friday, May 16th at 5:00 PM, and the fair will remain open until Sunday the 18th at 5:00 PM, when the final raffles will be drawn.
