Walking routes around Calella:

On the following days: 1st; 3rd; 5th; 8th; 10th; 12th; 17th; 19th; 22nd; 24th and 26th of February at 07.00 a.m. leaving from the Football pitch by the sea (Camp de Futbol de Mar).   Organized by the Calella March Association.  For more information please call 655 81 20 07.

 

Walking at the Dalmau Park:

FRIDAY, 4TH OF FEBRUARY

22.00 h, Sala Mozart (c. Església, 91), Calella Jazz Concerts: Joan Díaz (piano), Álvaro Ocón (trumpet), Rai Ferrer (double bass) and David Gimeno (drummer). Free entrance.

 

SATURDAY, 5TH OF FEBRUARY

18.00 h, al Theatre Orfeó:  Family theatre with Safari in the Catalan language. Entrance: 6 €. Advance purchase of tickets at www.entrapolis.com  and at the Sala Mozart (c. Església, 91) from 17.00 to 19.00 h every Wednesday. Also on the day of the performance at the box office two hours before the show begins, subject to availability.

 

SUNDAY, 6TH OF FEBRUARY

9.00 – 15.00 h, on the promenade of Manuel Puigvert: Exchange and collections market.

 

18.30 h, Theatre Orfeó (c. Església, 249): City of Calella Amateur Theatre Contest (in the catalan language) with the show Ella és Ell i Él es Ella.  Sale of tickets online or at the box office 45 minutes before the performance begins. Tickets: 10 €

 

FRIDAY, 11TH OF FEBRUARY

22.00 h, In the Restaurant La Gàbia (Promenade of. Manuel Puigvert): Calella Jazz Concert. Concert with Mireia Feliu (singer), David Mengual (piano), Marc Cuevas (doublé bass), Pep Mula (drums) i Joan Mas (saxo). Free entrance.

 

SATURDAY, 12TH OF FEBRUARY

22.00 h, in the bar of the Sala Mozart (next to the cinema on the main shopping street):  Jazz sessions in Calella. Free entrance.

 

SUNDAY 20TH OF FEBRUARY

18.30 h, at the Calella Orfeo Theatre: City of Calella Amateur Theatre Contest (in the Catalan language) with the show Després de la pluja (after the rain).  Sale of tickets online or at the box office 45 minutes before the performance begins. Tickets: 10 €

 

THURSDAY 24TH OF FEBRUARY

17.30 h, At the Parish Church Square (plaça de l’Església): Celebration of “dijous llarder” (a tradition celebrated just before Carnival begins). With childrens songs and puppets.

 

18.00 h, at the Llobet-Guri Factory:  Carnival Ball for senior citizens.

 

21.00 h, in Can Saleta (c. Sant Jaume 225-229), Cinema Gaudí with “Las leyes de la frontera” in Spanish language. Entrance: 4’5 €. Sale of tickets on the day of the performance at the box office one hour before the film begins.

18.30 h, in Can Saleta (c. Sant Jaume 225-229): Maria Callas, entre la dona i la llegenda” (between the woman and the legend) by Rosa Maria Carbonell.

17.00 h, At the Tow Hall Square (Plaça l’Ajuntament): Carnival proclamation and the start of the children’s Carnival parade through the streets Bisbe Sivilla, Romaní, Església, Àngel Guimerà to pl. Lluís Gallart

 

SUNDAY 27TH OF FEBRUARY

Exhibition Hall of the Old Town Hall:  Inauguration of the exhibition “Calella is solidarity”. It can be visited until March 20TH from Monday to Friday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m; Tuesday to Saturday from 5 pm to 8 pm; Sundays and public holidays, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

 

18.00 h at the Theatre Orfeó Calellenc (c. Església, 249):  48th City of Calella Amateur Theatre Competition with the play Testimony (in the Catalan language).  Tickets can be purchased online and at the theatre 45 minutes before the performance begins. Price: € 10
