From 26 June to 29 August, Calella once again becomes one of the summer’s leading cultural destinations with a new edition of NEC (Nits d’Estiu a Calella), a festival that brings together live music, comedy and open-air performances in an exceptional setting.
In 2026, NEC celebrates its 15th anniversary, further establishing itself as one of the must-attend summer events on the Maresme Coast. Over the course of more than two months, the festival will offer a diverse programme featuring top-tier artists performing in an extraordinary venue: the iconic Calella Lighthouse, which this year will share the spotlight with Parc Dalmau for the largest-format concerts.
As Calella’s mayor, Marc Buch, has highlighted, NEC is “a complete experience that can be enjoyed in the fresh air of a summer night, with the moon as an exceptional witness, in the intimate setting of a unique place such as the Calella Lighthouse”.
Held outdoors during the evening, the festival offers the opportunity to enjoy live performances while taking in one of the finest views of the Mediterranean, making every concert a truly unforgettable experience.
Over the years, NEC has welcomed renowned artists such as María del Mar Bonet, Elena Gadel, Guillem Gisbert, Manu Guix and Mònica Green. To celebrate its anniversary edition, the festival once again presents a high-quality line-up featuring performers including Andrea Motis, Judit Neddermann, Kiko Veneno, Roger Mas with the Cobla Sant Jordi, Pastora and Blaumut, among many others. The programme also includes tribute concerts, comedy performances, the popular late-afternoon music sessions (tardeos), and a carefully curated gastronomic offering that turns every evening into a memorable experience.

If you stay at our hotel in Calella, Hotel Bernat II, getting to the concerts couldn’t be easier. The tourist train (Carrilet) stops right in front of the hotel, allowing you to reach the festival venue comfortably without needing to use your car.
Practical Information
- In case of rain: all performances will be moved to Fàbrica Llobet-Guri.
- Tickets: available online through Entrapolis and at the Sala Mozart box office every Wednesday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The Lighthouse box office will open two hours before each performance, subject to ticket availability.
- Free transport: the Carrilet tourist train runs from the Tourist Office to the Lighthouse at 8:30 pm, 9:00 pm and 9:30 pm. A return service departs 15 minutes after the end of the main concert.
