Christmas & New Year’s
Is Hotel Bernat II open over Christmas and New Year’s?
Yes. This Christmas, Hotel Bernat II will once again open its doors so you can enjoy the festive season in Calella, with a special programme of activities for Christmas and New Year’s.
Will there be special activities during Christmas?
Yes. During the Christmas period, we’ll have a special program including family activities, a visit from Santa Claus, special buffets, a Christmas show and music with a DJ.
Will Santa Claus visit the hotel?
Yes. On the afternoon of 24 December, Santa Claus will visit the hotel. Children will be able to meet him, take photos with him and tell him their Christmas wishes before Christmas Eve dinner.
What will take place on Christmas Eve?
We’ll celebrate Christmas Eve with a special buffet featuring a selection of starters, fish, meat, show cooking and Christmas desserts. After dinner, the celebrations will continue with music and a DJ.
What will take place on Christmas Day, 25 December?
On 25 December, we’ll have a special Christmas buffet. In the afternoon, there will be a Christmas show for the whole family, followed by music and dancing with a DJ.
Will there be a special buffet on 26 December?
Yes. On 26 December, we’ll celebrate St Stephen’s Day with a special buffet featuring traditional products and dishes typical of the festive season.
There will also be a family activity in the afternoon so you can continue enjoying the Christmas atmosphere at the hotel.

New Year’s Eve
Does Hotel Bernat II celebrate New Year’s Eve?
Yes. On 31 December, we’ll celebrate New Year’s Eve with a special buffet dinner and a party with a DJ to welcome the New Year.
What is included in the New Year’s Eve dinner?
The New Year’s Eve dinner will feature a special buffet with appetisers, seafood, starters, a selection of local cured meats and cheeses, fish, meat, show cooking and desserts.
The drinks specified in the special menu — wine, cava and coffee — will also be included, as well as the traditional twelve grapes, a party bag and the DJ party afterwards.
Stay and Meal Plans
Is it compulsory to book half board or full board to stay over Christmas or New Year’s?
No. You are not required to book a meal plan if you prefer room only or bed and breakfast.
If you would like to join us for Christmas Eve dinner, Christmas Day lunch or New Year’s Eve dinner, you will need to book either half board or full board, whichever best suits your stay.
What does half board include?
Half board includes dinner and breakfast.
What does full board include?
Full board includes lunch, dinner and breakfast.
Can I change the lunch or dinner services included in my meal plan?
Changes to meal services on 24, 25 and 31 December are subject to availability.
If you need to change any of the services included in your booking during these dates, we recommend contacting the hotel in advance.
Is there a minimum stay over Christmas or New Year’s?
No. There is no minimum stay requirement during these dates.
Are drinks included?
This depends on the meal plan booked.
The hotel offers options ranging from room only to full board with drinks, so the conditions may vary depending on the selected rate.
The special New Year’s Eve dinner will include the drinks specified in the special menu, such as wine, cava and coffee.
Dining
Can I book the special Christmas or New Year’s Eve meals without staying at the hotel?
The special Christmas and New Year’s Eve meals are reserved for guests staying at the hotel.
Family members of hotel guests may request to be added to a waiting list. From mid-December onwards, depending on the restaurant’s available capacity, the hotel will confirm whether these additional bookings can be accepted.
Will there be special menus or buffets?
Yes. On 24, 25 and 26 December and on New Year’s Eve, there will be a specially prepared dining offer for each celebration.

Are there options for guests with allergies or intolerances?
If you have any allergies, intolerances or special dietary requirements, please let us know when making your booking or contact the hotel before your arrival so that our team can advise you on the available options.
Families and Groups
Is this suitable for families with children?
Yes. Our Christmas programme is also specially designed for families, with a visit from Santa Claus, shows and Christmas activities taking place over several days.
We are a family or group requiring more than 5 rooms. How should we book?
For family or group bookings of more than 5 rooms, please contact our Reservations Department directly at booking@hotelbernat.com so that our team can handle your request personally.
Spa and Services
Will the Spa be open during Christmas?
Yes. The Spa & Wellness Center at Hotel Bernat II will remain open during the Christmas period during its usual opening hours.
Access is subject to availability and an additional charge.
Is parking available?
Yes. The hotel has private covered parking approximately 200 metres away. An additional charge applies, and we recommend booking it in advance.
Check-in / Check-out
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is available from 3:00 pm and check-out is until 12:00 noon.
Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may incur an additional charge.

How can I book?
You can book your stay directly through the official Hotel Bernat II website.
If you require more than 5 rooms, have any questions about the services included in your booking or would like to request a place on the waiting list for a family member who is not staying at the hotel, please contact our Reservations Department at booking@hotelbernat.com.
